I got a kick out of the way the author "made" the main character "talk". Don't get me wrong -- I enjoy the book -- the writing is humorous and (in my opinion) true-to-life for a teenage boy. I'm thinking this guy Porter might be basing this book on his own personal teenage diary! He's good!
